Step-by-Step: Save List Filters as Personalized Views in 365 Business Central
Open the Business Central list page
Use Search in Business Central to open the list you want to work with, such as Customers, Vendors, Items, Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, or Posted Sales Invoices.
Open the filter pane
Select the Filter pane icon at the top of the list. You can also press Shift + F3.
Add the filter criteria
Under Filter list by, select + Filter, choose a field, and enter the desired value or expression. Add more fields when the workflow requires multiple conditions.
Save the filtered list as a new view
After the filters are set, select the Save View icon. If a saved view was already selected, saving updates that view.
Name the personalized view
Replace All (Copy) with a concise name such as Open Orders Awaiting Shipment. Press Enter to accept the name.
Test the saved view
Select All or another view, then select the new view again and confirm that Business Central restores the expected filters.
Reuse, Update, Rename, or Remove a Saved View
Reuse a saved view
Open the same list page and select the named view from the Views group.
Update an existing view
Select the saved view, change its filters, and select Save View.
Rename or remove a view
Open Show more options for the current view and choose Rename or Remove.
